HOLISTIC COUNSELING + WELLNESS COACHING

Sarah’s approach to counseling involves weaving together various healing modalities from both indigenous and western origins, including somatic experiencing, depth-psychology, action-oriented goal setting, earth-based/shamanic practices, and storytelling. Sarah’s overarching goal with all of her clients is to assist each person in coming into right relationship with themselves by learning to develop and trust their intuition and to uncover, implement, and celebrate the unique gifts they have to offer.  Her practice is built on the fundamental concepts of personal integrity, empowerment, compassion and respect for oneself, others, and the planet.

INTEGRATION COUNSELING

Integrative Counseling combines the holistic counseling services outlined above with a specific focus on plant medicine integration. Integration is the process through which visions, messages and insights received through a transpersonal state are brought to conscious awareness and transformed into a deeper awareness of self.  It is through proper integration that the benefits of indigenous medicine work can be experienced in their fullest and most lasting form. Without proper integration, entheogenic work has the potential to be disruptive and destabilizing.

Sarah’s background and training in both Western medicine and indigenous healing modalities uniquely position her to serve as an effective bridge between these two worlds, and to assist clients in safely and effectively implementing insights they have received during a medicine ceremony into their daily lives.  Over the past five years, Sarah has been actively studying, participating in, and researching various indigenous medicine lineages. She has made it a part of her mission to continue to build and implement appropriate safety and ethical guidelines to ensure participants, their leaders, and the earth are respected, safe, and psychologically held.

Integrative Counseling services are offered to Sarah’s Kambo clients as well as those who participate in other entheogenic medicine work.
